River Bend has the following classes and activities for theater: Exploratory Dramatics - Taught by Mr. Simonton, this course for 7th and 8th grade students gives students an overview of theater skills and roles through active participation in ensemble building, improvisation, dramatic interpretation, technical theater, and other topics. River Bend Musical - Sponsored by the PTA, each year, River Bend puts on a musical that is open to all 6th, 7th and 8th graders. Drama Club - This club meets twice a week and is primarily student directed. The Drama Club puts on their own variety show.
